Okay, now that that’s out of the way, let me explain who I am and where I’m going with this website.
I began affiliate marketing in 1984 with an old Commodore 64 and a 9600 baud dial up modem. For those who remember those days, you’ll agree that those were the days where startups really started up. Using the Bulletin Board Service’s (BBS’S) we communicated and made saies on a system of Short Wave radio repeater transmissions.
For those of you not old enough to remember those days, my internet affiliate marketing career began in the modern era, 1998. These were the beginning days of Internet marketing, where dial up modems were still very much in use, just at baud rates that were higher than before, and AmericaOnline (AOL) was the most used network though others were beginning to be born.
Nowadays, it’s very unusual too see dial-up modems, as cable and satellite connections are both much faster and more convenient. Especially for businesses, i.e., affiliate marketers. Through all the connectivity and technological improvements, I was able to forge ahead and continue to grow my success in affiliate marketing.
Now, 27 years later, I am semi-retired. Retired from the growth end of this business. Now concentrating my efforts in helping others to circumnavigate through the myriad of programs that make promises they can’t keep, or just want you to join the program they sponsor with no real results.
